Spell Check
EditRocket contains an English language spell checking tool that can be used by users to verify the spelling in their documents.
The spell checker can be launched by selecting the Tools -> Spell Check menu option. Once the spell checker is launched, it will parse through the editor contents word by word. If a word is found that is not in the spell checker dictionary, the spell checker will give the user the option to ignore the particular occurrence of the word, ignore all occurrences of the word, change the particular occurrence of the word, or change all ocurrences of the word.
The dictionary file for the spell checker is contained in the file named english.txt in the data directory of the EditRocket installation. This file can be modified or replaced for users to use their own dictionary file.
The current EditRocket dictionary file has over 260,000 English language words.
