Macros
EditRocket provides the ability for users to record macros, giving users the ability to quickly execute common tasks.
Macros are a series of keyboard operations that are executed in sequence. Users "record" macros by executing the keyboard shortcuts after a recording has been started. Once the macro is created, it can be accessed again and again to perform the same keyboard operations.
To start recording a macro, select the Tools -> Macros -> Start Recording option. After typing a name for the macro, users can then perform the keyboard functions they wish to be contained in the macro, and then click the Tools -> Macros -> Stop Recording option. Once the macro is recorded, users can execute the macro via the Tools -> Macros menu, or by using the macro selector (Shift + Cmd/Control + M) or by assigning a keyboard shortcut to the macro.
