File Encodings
EditRocket provides suppport for dozens of file encodings. Typically, if the operating system EditRocket is running on can support a file encoding, EditRocket can also support the encoding. Some of the encodings supported by EditRocket are the following: Ascii, UTF*, ISO*, IBM*, etc.
By default, EditRocket uses the default operating system encoding. The default encoding used by EditRocket can be changed in the preferences window.
EditRocket provides the ability to specify an encoding other than the default when opening or saving a file by using the Open Choose Encoding and Save Choose Encoding options. EditRocket also allows users to reload the current file with a different encoding using the Reload Choose Encoding option.
