Find File Tool
EditRocket provides a Find File tool that gives users the ability to search for files on their machines. The Find File tool is available in the Search menu.
The find file tool provides the following options:
Search Text: This field can be all or part of a file
name. EditRocket will search for files containing this text.
File Type Filter: Users can enter text in this
field to limit the types of files EditRocket will search for, for example,
.html or .txt
Starting Directory: EditRocket will search for files starting with
the starting directory. It will also recursively search any directories beneath the starting
directory.
Return All Matches: If selected, EditRocket will return a list
of all files containing the search text.
Return First Match: If selected, EditRocket will halt the search
after a match is found and return the match.
