C Editor
The C editor included in EditRocket includes many tools to make C programming and source code creation easier. Listed below is information on the C specific tools offered by EditRocket. See the General Highlights section at the bottom of the page for more of what EditRocket has to offer.
C Code Builder
The C Code Builder includes information on the functions contained in the C standard library, for example, math, stdio, stdlib, string, time, and many more.
The Code Builder works by allowing users to select a function category, such as stdio, and then it displays function signature and function description information for all functions in the selected category. The user can copy the function name to the editor, and the signature will display as a tooltip.
C Sidekick
The C Sidekick has several tabs, one of which gives users the ability to quickly enter many common C coding constructs into the text editor with the click of a button, or via customizable keyboard shortcuts. Some examples of code inserts are #include syntax; if, else, for, do while, and struct syntax; and main, printf, and fprintf syntax. The sidekick also has a tab for the C Function Navigator, that lists of the C functions contained in the current editor in a clickable list.
C Function Navigator
The C Function Navigator tool parses the editor contents for C functions and displays them in a clickable list. Clicking an option from the list takes the user directly to the point in the editor where the function is defined.
