Installation Instructions and Requirements
Mac OS X and macOS
There are two editions of EditRocket for Mac OS X / macOS. The 64-bit only edition requires OS X 10.7 (Lion) or newer. The other edition of EditRocket requires OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or newer. If running macOS Sierra, OS X 10.11 (El Capitan), 10.10 (Yosemite), 10.9 (Mavericks), 10.8 (Mountain Lion) or 10.7 (Lion), the 64-bit only version of EditRocket is recommended unless you are manually booting into 32-bit mode. In that case, the universal version of EditRocket is recommended. For best results, use of one of the following operating systems is recommended: macOS Sierra, OS X 10.11 (El Capitan), OS X 10.10 (Yosemite), OS X 10.9 (Mavericks), OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion), OS X 10.7 (Lion), OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), OS X 10.5 (Leopard), or OS X 10.4 (Tiger).
To install, download the editrocket4_3_2_x64.dmg (for Lion or Mountain Lion or Mavericks or Yosemite) or editrocket4_3_2.dmg (for older OS X versions or if manually booting into 32-bit mode) file to your machine. Double click the .dmg file. This should open a window showing EditRocket.app. Drag EditRocket.app to your Applications folder or wherever you want it to reside. Double-click the EditRocket.app file to launch EditRocket.
